The Garnacha Blanc in this Spanish blend comes from 50-year-old vines, giving this bright, pineappley white terrific intensity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Like most of Spain’s wine-growing regions, Catalonia has seen a flood of interest in recent years in modern winemaking techniques and non-traditional grape varieties. This blend of aromatic white grapes combines two local varieties (Garnacha Blanc, Macabeo) and two French imports (Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier) to create a layered, crisply fruity white. Estate grown, it’s from vineyards at an elevation of 1,300 feet, where cooler temperatures help keep its ripe fruit flavors fresh and vibrant.
