Sarrazin helped elevate the reputation of Givry, the town
where his family has lived since the 17th century, by taking
its wines to a new level of quality in the 1970s and ’80s.

a small vineyard at Givry’s north end. Long noted for
its wines, the vineyard’s status was recently made official
with a promotion to premier cru.
